Radicalism in the Middle East

The events happening in the Middle East and parts of Africa are truly terrifying and saddening. The possibility that it can spread throughout the world is even more so. It seems apparent that radicalism is in favor of its radical leaders to use ancient die or join warfare to achieve religious supremacy. I realized the recruitment or idocination of combatants are joined by those without substantial form of education or free mindedness. They only see the way of sharia and of their religious ideology. However, this does not mean that the Muslim faith is for radicalist ideologies, because the Muslim faith in itself is to promote peace and compassion. Nevertheless, I heard the faith starts peaceful but then leads to radicalism. I say the Muslim faith should be respected until there is a form of radicalism. Death and destruction will never bring peace. Nonetheless, I believe radicalism is the hijacking of the Muslim faith.
There’s the conspiracy that the world will eventually turn to Muslim or to radical Muslim order. If such an occasion were to become true, it seems the development of technology could come to an end. This could mean being subjected to new or untreated illnesses. Although in promotion of peace, or possible their idea of peace, also has the possibility to be a different age of religious feudalism as often seen in the Middle East today and its history. Those who are more religious could punish those who are less religious. There's also the idea that there could be internal racial conflicts, because maybe Muslims should look a certain way. It seems possible only sadness could come of such a society. Furthermore, I would like to state that I respect the Muslim faith as well as all religions. Nevertheless, if such a future were to exist, it would seem irreversible to the progress of human and scientific development.

I had a very controversial idea, for recently initiated and preexisting muslims in the muslim faith, to make a mandatory oath or promise to Allah for the promise and promotion of peace to those in their faith and those who are not in their faith. This serves the purpose to remove extreme ideologies from radical regimes. Another idea is to perhaps modernize Sharia law to fit with this promotion of peace and diplomacy. This would include remaking the law to use diplomatic and rational methods to solve for traditional barbaric-like punishments. Perhaps the best method to do this is through religious leaders, political figures, media (social engineering), or through public opinion (voting).

Being an Introvert

It seems to me that the fear of being alone is something almost everyone fears. I find comfort in being alone. It’s nice and peaceful and gives me the opportunity to think and do personalized activates. I should add the best things I do are by myself. I love creating art, writing stories, reading, playing videogames, and doing single person activities because they are things I can do alone. Being an introvert doesn’t necessarily mean I dislike others. I enjoy to be in the company of others. I particularly enjoy being with friends and family. I believe I can get along fine with anyone. I just prefer solitude because of the personal freedoms it offers. Nonetheless, being an introvert I should add that I feel there could be possible dangers of physical or mental isolation at times; therefore, it’s good to remember to socialize once in a while for the sake of not feeling too isolated, becoming socially awkward or becoming completely anti-social.

The Importance of World Peace

It seems to me the idea of world peace has become a diminished idea. There is conflict everywhere around the world. When I look at public media, it’s easy to find the terrifying conflict arising or in session in different parts of the world; poverty, terrorism, hacking, political tyranny and so on. Every day it becomes more frightening, increasing the level of future uncertainties. Nevertheless, I believe world peace should become a main priority once more. I don’t believe the future is to become a single globalized community, but rather a globalized community that coexists with every country as their own entity. I believe it should be within every country’s interest to maintain peace without even suggesting the idea of war, because war is an old irrational and barbaric ideology. Instead, conflicts should be handled civilly, rationally, and dealt with using the most wise and intelligent suggestions possible. It’s within good measures for counties to learn to get along and respect each other’s boundaries.  I also believe it’s within good allyship that countries should come together and help each other with their social insecurities and problems if possible. By utilizing such actions, the global community should create a global culture of peace and allyship that can be essential for the direction of human progress toward a more prosperous future.

My Losing Weight Hypothesis

Here are some methods I found personally beneficial and effective for maintaining weight and that could be useful for other who want to lose weight.
  1. Tummy tuck: Fat builds on stomach that one lets loose. Constantly remind yourself to tuck in your stomach and stand straight. This is the hardest yet efficient way to have a good habit to lose weight. I consider this a form of self-discipline.
  2. Snack throughout the day: By having no time frame, the body doesn’t store fat. Instead, it uses the nutrients from the food whenever it can because the body never establishes a routine to store fat. Another good idea is to eat in less portions, I think it shrinks the stomach which helps burn food faster.
  3. Eat a lot less junk food: Cut down on fatty and whole grain foods, eat less fast food, and avoid consuming products with artificial sugar.
  4. Eat things more natural: I found myself building my metabolism by eating fruits; especially berries and nuts. A high metabolism is key to maintaining and losing weight.
  5. Sleep whenever tired: this includes getting at least eight hours of sleep. Tiredness can lead to unnecessary stress. I found sleeping keeps the brain fresh.
  6. Eliminate unnecessary stress: this can be a challenge. Anything undesirable had the potential of creating stress. I found stress to affect one’s mind and potentially affect one’s body subconsciously.
  7. Exercising and doing things with action: Most times when people want to lose weight, they think about exercising. I personally enjoy running and trail riding. I think exercising is excellent; however, doing things with more energy and action is also a great idea, like chores, walking the dog, or small things like parkouring over a sofa. I found it helpful to keep on the move whenever needed. Also, when I exercise, I exercise to tone and not build muscles I must  maintain. By toning, I can maintain fitness because I’m using my body in a way that maintains itself.
  8. Use more brain power: Your brain also takes energy, and lots of it. Keep it maintained by not drinking or using unnecessary or harmful substances and it will take care of you. I have a personal hypothesis that’s the way one thinks along with the way one behaves, can possibly influence the way one looks as they grow older.

Addressing the Root of all Problems in the Nation

It seems the root of almost every problem in this nation leads to the lack of civility. Are we not an aged society with advanced minds and technology? Is it not being American the nationality that binds us together? Are we not unique human-beings capable of rational or moral decisions? Is it not in the best interest of religions or personal ethics to promote civility? Surely the lives of everyone around us has purpose and meaning. I believe with civility we are capable of much more than what we can do now. In addition, with civility there should  be no need for the irrational attitude and behavior of citizens or law enforcement. Being civilized, we should care for the welfare of our-self and others. With civility comes rational, logical, intelligent, and compassionate minds that can make this country a more beautiful and pleasant place to live.

Business Ethic Suggestion

When it comes to business, it's a dog eat dog world in the US. I have experienced first hand how fast pace and possibly barbaric it can be. I believe this is a field that can use some ethics.

When I saw business being conducted in Japan, I've noticed a huge change in behavior compared to the way business is conducted in America. The way individuals in Japan conduct business is very harmonious, delicate, and precise. Through their actions and behavior I saw a more noble and harmonious business ethic that I believe could also work in the western world.
Of course it's obvious the Japanese work ethic is very different from that in the US. In Japan business man treat their job as if part of a family. They even have their own assign seating and spend after hours with their company drinking. The heavy use of business cards and level of bowing is also apparent. I observed their actions and wondered what if that could be useful in the western world.

The Business ethics I believe that could be useful from Japan that could be a great business ethics in the US is: the use of politeness and consideration of authority or company rank; how individuals should talk one at a time and with large pauses to not overlook ideas; and most importantly to not argue ideas, instead discuss ways to innovate or reinforce ideas. For example, when a person states their idea, another person could build upon that idea or improve it without offending the person who came up with that idea. In further detail, imagine if a person talks about how improving the wing design of a plane can improve performance. Another person sees it and talks about how they believe the idea could create more drag, so instead they offers their suggestions, new idea, or solution. In this discussion no one is arguing, everyone is stating their ideas and stating ideas in consideration of the ideas of others. It creates a harmonious environment that promotes respect, comfort and innovation. I believe this business ethic can be extremely useful here in the United States.

My Opinion on Jobs

What is a job? How does it affect our life? What should we gain from a job?

"You're fired!" A famous quote stated by the renowned millionaire Donald Trump. If you were to hear those words tomorrow, how would you feel? I'm sure it's something along the phrase, "THE WORLD IS ENDING!" I'm going to take the time to think and analyze what is actually a job and what i think about it.

A job, a paid position of regular employment or paid task or piece of work, is important to pretty much everybody. The obvious reason for a job is that we make money to survive or pay for assets.
It seems reasonable to say that having a job can alter our personality on a day to day basis and change who we are or the way we think. But what do we have to gain besides money? I personally believe there's so much one could gain.

Foremost, It's obvious the reason why we get jobs, everybody needs to survive. Other alternatives to making money would be working hard by creating a small business (selling a product or service), making a corporation or relying on investments/ income streams. Another alternative would be to remove your social security and live off the land like the pioneer days; however, this is subject to public and political scrutiny.
I've had three jobs in my life time. My first job was a dog councilor (i worked with dogs). My second job was at Kroger (I vaguely remember my name being a number). My third and most recent job, as of the moment, was working as a carpet cleaner.

While remember the times I worked I came up with ideas on what we should gain by having jobs:

1. Insight and learning: When we get a job, we gain the insight of an industry. Therefore, learning everything about that job is definitely a great idea. See how they work, what their business model is, how they conduct their services or sell their products. Every source of information is worth knowing for future reference. It's also important to set goals in the company, what do you want to accomplish, what skills or information do you want to obtain. I found it very important to know about the legal and financial side of running the business. I also found that there is a significant amount of information that can be gathered, the amount one knows is insignificant compared to the amount of information that's actually out there.

2. Acquire skills: Skills are one of the most important thing one should utilize in a job. Once you have obtain a skill, improve upon it. If one already has mastered a skill, find ways to make it more efficient, less time consuming, and more productive. By doing this, not only are you improving self worth, you're also improving yourself and your desirability in the work force.

3. Acquire social skills: When in a job, begin developing a can do anything attitude. Learn to communicate effectively. Learn to deal with problems effectively and be the person you want to see yourself as. By doing this people will respect you, you will gain publicity and possible recognition  by individuals in higher positions. If I may, pause for a second, there is a difference between being a boss and being a leader. A boss pushed and is essentially  jerk, a leader inspires, motivates and leads from the front.

4. Gain references: It's not what you know, it's who you know. This can be a good idea to obtain and find contacts in a work environment. Having great communication skills and talent can get you far in any industry.

5. Improve yourself: You're gaining knowledge, skills, social skills, and contacts. Use everything to improve yourself. It's important to keep in mind what you want to accomplish. Don't let your dreams fall idle to the ambitions of the job/company. If you can, make the work place more fun; play some music, dance a little; become an example for others.

6. Find a job you love or can create: One should find a job, or job position, that suits his or her desires. This will allow the individuals to gain intrinsic motivational values and allow them to stay with the company. Another idea can be to utilize everything you've learned and experienced to create your own enterprise. When working in a job you're making other people money, by creating your own business, you're the one in control. You are your own boss. Identify niches, do your research, build a plan, find financing, and run life the way you want.

By adding this list, I hope that one can learn and utilize the information and improve the quality of their own life.

Using Language with More Accuracy

I spent some time to think and analyze how we speak our language. It seems a manifest (obvious) function is that what one says will always solicit some sort of response. I have thought of the way we ask questions and provide with answers. Upon thinking about this, I discovered something interesting that has changed the way I speak. If a person answers with uncertainty, they have the possibility to reveal a lack of knowledge, seem as if they’re lying, seem ignorant or portray arrogance. I discovered by using the words perhaps, I believe, maybe, it seems, I guess, and I think before we state a response we’re uncertain of, we can express a statements that is both humbling and educational; giving a person the ability to learn from others without a negative portrayal. I think this can help in relationships, social interaction and personal honesty.

Another thing I learned is by stating sources of a topic, I found myself to be more credible and portrayed as a person with higher intellectual status. Also to preserve respect and professionalism, I found it best to find rational ways to state counter arguments. For example: "In regards to what Mr. Leeroy jenkins believes, Mr. Android Abraham Lincoln believes this way.... etc". I also find it a good idea to never be direct, always find uplifting ways to state or counter outargue things; such as, "Your opinions are very interesting; however, I think...etc." By doing this, one can keep professionalism while respecting the ideas of others.
