How can the workforce make more effective employees?

How can businesses make the workplace produce more effective employees. Will an increase in pay lead to more productive employees? I think it’s perhaps a good idea, if the business can afford it. Nevertheless, I think there is more to having more productive employees. In this article, I will address ideas I have come up with that I believe could lead to more effective employees.

Foremost, I believe effective employees should be part of the business model because I believe a business is as good as its employees. I believe if employees reach a decent level of satisfaction in the workplace then a business will obtain an even greater reputation by its future employees, constituents, clients, and consumers.

My first idea examines the relationship with employees and their boss. I think a huge reason for poor employees is because of relationships with their boss. If a boss is more like a tyrant and less like a leader, employee comfortably and willingness to increase productivity could be met with discouragement. I believe a boss needs to understand what it means to be a boss by knowing how to be a leader. Perhaps similar to a commanding officer in the military. A boss needs to utilize a positive, outgoing, motivational, disciplinary when necessary, rewarding, and any other principle a leader uses. A boss that does so can become a role model for the rest of the employees. It’s obvious nobody wants another person who’s a tyrant to trust them to make the decision in which involves keeping them alive. A boss should also consider the employees perspective, intentions, and reasons and that of the business. Like a judge, they need to keep their eye on properties and also make calls that balance and does justice to the needs of the company and of their employees. If an employee enjoys and find satisfaction having a good or compliant boss, they could have the desire to look up to the boss’s expectation and help the business make more money.

My next idea involves employee relationships. I believe a workplace should utilize more effective solutions for employee relations. It’s expected for employees to be professional; however, this is not always the case. Normally when there is employee relations dissatisfaction, an individual would most likely contact their boss or higher authority. However, what if the business model could do something about this. What if the business experimented with regulations. An example can be such as letting the employees dress the way they want or even something small such as playing music. Maybe allowing flexibility in other areas of the business could get employees to feel more comfortable, open up who they are, and establish a positive employee connection with other employees. Perhaps this could lead to employees increasing productivity and efficiency as they become more comfortable understanding each other. Examining how this could also have the possibility to lead to something negative. I think a good idea is also to have a jar where employees can write down what they don’t like about other employees, of course leaving the messages without individuals names, and the manager can utilize who can work with who and what needs to be done to improve employee relations.

The next idea is over rewards. I believe the use of rewards can increase employee productivity. An example can be bringing in gifts or food to show the businesses appreciation for their employees. Another suggestion is reward people if they do something out positive and of the ordinary that benefits the business. For example, if someone calls in sick and wants someone else to fill in their position, but they don’t want to, perhaps it’s a good idea to reward them. Perhaps the severity of the circumstance should obtain a reward of equal value.

This idea is fairly simple as it involves minor ideas of how the employee could come up with ideas or suggestions for the business. My first suggestion is the use of a suggestion sheet, where an employee can come up with ideas for a business to increase employee efficiency, productivity, and comfort. The next suggestion is the use of a white board where employees can have fun drawing on a day to day basis. I believe little ideas and suggestions can make employees more productive or more comfortable in the workplace.

My next idea is with the use of forms and charts. I believe the use of forms can benefit business and employee relations. I believe a business can use a form to calculate productivity, usefulness, and reliability of an employee. By looking at this form, a business can examine how much a person works, how hard they work, and if proven to be a hard worker, perhaps a raise or more hours can be given. Another form can be used to calculate stress. Perhaps this form should ask an employee about what is the source of their stress (perhaps family, other employees, child, medical, parents, environment maintenance). Perhaps the business can examine this form by all the employees and find a solution in which to possibly improve one or many employee’s conditions.  Perhaps examining the positions in the business that deals with stress, a business can find ways to improve or reduce stress. Perhaps examining an individual’s stress or circumstance, one can see if they desire more hours. Moving on, I believe it’s a good idea to perhaps ask how an employee is feeling every day and provide positive feedback for an attempt to keep them motivated and focusing on the businesses’ tasks. Another suggestion is the use of a competitive chart. An example can be such as in a restaurant environment where employees can compete with one another as if it were a game. Perhaps get a prize for payed days off or a quick (maybe two day weekend) vacation. Furthermore, providing forms and calculating productivity, usefulness, reliability and stress can help a business further understand or find solutions to keeping their employees productive and comfortable.

Another suggestion for a business is examining the reason why employees quit and create a plan to keep employees from quitting by finding solutions.

My final suggestion is the change of employee perspective in the business. Perhaps businesses can find ways to make employees create a family-like environment or treat the businesses as if it was their own.  By this perhaps employees can offer suggestions to improve the business, help the business come up with ideas, or have access to financial sheets and understanding the business structure and find ways to improve the business. Of course this means that employees will have access to the overall business model. This could be a risk as it could mean an individual could take the business model, quit their current position, and create a similar business themselves; therefore, with such an employee structure, perhaps the use of agreements and legal security is necessary. Nonetheless, with the use of this personalized employee-business structure, not only will the business create employees, they will be creating an entity that could be forever a part of an individual’s life as they stop being employees and begin operating as a single business unit. Furthermore, not only will they gain experience in the business they are in, they can also get the experience they need to create and operate a business of their own.

These are my suggestions for improving employee productivity, effectiveness, and perhaps comfortability.  Perhaps they can be utilized or perhaps not. I believe it’s with good intention to state my opinions as it has the possibility to be usefulness to someone.

My Vision

I want to be a creator. A creator creates things. As a creator I want to make things I find inspiring and interesting to myself and hopefully others. I am not creating things for wealth; however, I was told how a person becomes wealthy is through the accumulation of assets. I want to create things I can be proud of and which gives me the ability to create more things. In a short documentary about Lamborghinis decorated with bosozoku features, Shinichi Moroboshi stated in Japanese. "The way I'm living, I hope I inspire young people. Back then, I just wanted to stand out... To take the road less traveled. I drive through life... And create my own future. I make roads. Where there are no roads." I have fallen in love with this quote and I want it to be a reflection of my life. I guess one could consider this as a vision of an artist. If such a case, then I am an artist. I want to be able to share my vision. My ideas. One day I hope that the world knows what I've created. And, one day I hope to inspire a new generation of minds. To take the road less taken and to create roads where there are none.

Japanese Yankii and Bosozoku Subcultures

This blog post is exploring the underground Japanese subcultures of Yankii and Bosozoku bike gangs. We will explore the meaning of what this is and what it means to those who participate in these subcultures.

First we will begin with Yankii. What is a Yankii? Simply put, a Yankii is a juvenile delinquent. They are preteen and teenagers, both male and female, that come from a variety of different backgrounds. If visiting Japan, you’ll more than likely see them at night at parks or along street corners. Hardcore delinquents could dress up and use special yankii-style clothing with baggy pants and uniquely designed military or school-uniform –like jackets (as seen in this link ).

Hardcore Yankii’s will most likely show off a rebellious side with a variation of interesting facial gestures that used to intimidate their viewers. These facial gestures will appear comedic and very bizarre to foreigners. There is also a huge distinction in their attitude and the way they speak compared to other Japanese citisens. For example, Yanki uses improper words without polite forms (such as desu or ~masu) and just like any rebellious Japanese subculture they also like to roll their Rs. Even though they don’t speak politely, it’s common for Yanki’s to stir trouble so it’s best not to disrespect them in any way. Nonetheless, most likely if one is polite to them or is interested in knowing more about their subculture, they will more than likely be more than happy to teach you a thing or two.

The reason individuals turn to the Yankii subculture differs. The most common reason are to fit in, look cool, establish being unique (often because of a strict and structured society) because of the personal desire to become tough and fearless, to show pride or even to represent something unique to them such as a school or a club. I believe the common reason why students and enthusiasts become Yankii is due to pop culture. Many popular anime, manga, shows, and movies, such as crow zero, drop, and bebop high school inspire students to want to be part of this fictional world of rivalry, drama, and action. (here are some links: Crow Zero, Crow Zero 2, Drop, Bebop High School (1985), Bebop High School (2004)).

After delinquents finish or drop out of high school it’s common for them to then become Bosozoku. A Bosozoku, as stated previously, is a bike gang. The kanji for Bosozoku 暴走族, translates to "violent running tribe". This is a mob of bikers that rides through the streets at night and in the morning with extremely loud bikes waving banners and doing crazy stunts. The bikes in which they ride have very crazy and unique designs that caters toward the rider’s personal preference. Now-a-days, the Bosozoku have evolved into sports cars and mini vans; however, I will further discuss this later.

Before I get into what it means being a Bosozoku, I will first explain the history of Bosozoku. The Bosozoku first appeared in the 1950s. The early participants of the Bosozoku were called the Kaminari Zoku or the “Thunder Tribe”. The Kaminari Zoku were mostly comprised of young individuals, 20 years or less, from mostly poor families and were very much delinquents or outcasts of society. They would join under the idea of being cool, opposing social norms, and expressing their dissatisfaction for the system, government, and their place in the Japanese social structure. Some were also supposedly advocates for what remains of the imperial regime in WWII. Later the gang became more well established with the help of their flashy attire, rough and tough attitude, and uniquely crazy looking bikes. The more they grew the more they became rowdy and violent. The Yakuza used the groups to do their dirty deeds and recruit the best members to become part of their operations.

The Bosozoku were at an all-time high in the 80s and 90s. They had become known for modifying their bikes with illegally loud exhausts and stylistic fish-tale and personalized designs. They would commonly ride their bikes really slow causing traffic, causing disturbances in neighborhoods, and terrorizing anyone who got in their way with wooden swords, pipes, bats, and long bamboo sticks. Often the Bosozoku  would use their tokufuku, which is their common kamikaze inspired militaristic attack jacket which were filled with lines of gang related text and symbols. In addition to the attack or suicide jacket, they commonly use wraparound sunglasses, hachimaki headbands, surgical masks, body wraps, and perms or pompadour hairstyles.

In the mid-80s they were being targeted eavily by the police and soon began to decline in numbers. Today these groups are near extinct. The police have implemented regulations in which to use for arresting large groups of individuals on motorized vehicles.

Today there remaining Bosozoku are more likely to dress like regular people and not have such decorated motorcycles. The subculture is mostly taken over by enthusiasts or those with delinquent intentions. Nevertheless, today the bosozoku style and design of bikes has inspired a new generation of artists, pop culture, and mechanic works. When one goes to a car show in Japan it’s common to find standard cars that have been redesigned and supped up, very flashy vans with super stereo systems, and even large multi-wheeled trucks with hundreds of combinations of dancing lights. When the owners of the vehicles were interviewed they had given various reasons for their interest and designs. Therefore, ultimately the Bosozoku meaning today is simply to have one’s own definition of what it means to be Bosozoku.

If I were to give my own definition for what I believe is the meaning of Bosozoku, I would give a list of the combination of everything others have stated but said in my own way. Therefore, I believe being a Bosozoku is about being unique and standing out; being different, and not caring what people think; making one’s own path in life;  having a fun sense of rebellion and recklessness;  expressing a freedom of expression; telling your own story;  having a “going all out” or “all or nothing” attitude; escaping expectations and social norms; being tough, showing no weakness, and no fear;  accepting what you are and having pride over one’s imperfections; being crude and ridiculous with a desire to have respect and in such to give respect in return; and ultimately I believe it’s telling your story the way you want to tell it, letting the world know that you exist, how you want to live, and how you want to leave your mark in the world.

Global Elites

Recently I came across a journalist who in my opinion seemed to have change history by making the notorious Bilderberg group public. It seems now to have more than ever evidence of an elite group of individuals ranging from CEOs to major Bankers, political affiliates, and even some to believe to be major criminals to address a globalist agenda.  I personally believe an idea for a global system of government could be a good idea; however, done so by an elite group shrouded in secrecy will most likely lead to colossal negative and undesired outcomes. If I may, if there were to be a global government, it should be done with the desire to come together under democracy and design a system of government that is fair and functional for all. Nonetheless, I still believe such an entity should be given extremely limited power as power should stay with their own counties and states within those countries. Going back to discussing about elites, evidence and claims by journalists reveals the global elites are behind governments; popular products, brands and valuable resources; possible major world events (such as 9/11); and even head of secret societies from all over the world (Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove…ect ). Such a group can only lead to the desire of control over resources, people, and the dictation of power. It seems clear such an elite group, or by definition “mob”, will most likely lead to a socialist global government ruling with the use of fear tactics and more than likely social engineering. It would be a massive mistake to overlook such a potential unforeseen takeover. It’s my belief there should be some sort of system or task force to prevent such a group from ever assembling. Perhaps it's also a good idea to investigate these secret societies as well. I’m sure nobody wants to be in the position of the main character that’s featured in the book 1984 by George Orwell .

My Ideas for Our Current System of Government

I recently came up with ideas to perhaps improve our system of government. It may be useless; however, I thought I should mention them anyways.

My first idea involves the testing of laws. Perhaps before a law is enacted, it could be maybe tested. I understand that before laws are implemented they are possibly looked at from every angle to ensure functionality. It’s my believe that maybe it could undergo a testing phase before completely becoming a complete and fully enacted law, perhaps to see how people feel about it or if they find it logical or useful.

My second idea is a back-up plan in case there is a government shutdown or if there’s an economic collapse. I propose that maybe three days after a collapse, a heavy investigation of all its members should be done. As a rough thought, I think it would be a good idea to launch an investigation on every member related to law making and any relation centered around high positions or position of important associated decision making. Perhaps it would be a good idea to investigate each individual’s financial inquiries, lobbyist gains, individuals of association, and any other relevant information. The purpose of such an investigation is to look for any sign of corruption or to see who is behind such actions. Then all that is relevant to corruption should be made instantly public.

My third idea goes with the second idea. When there is a government shut down or an economic collapse. I propose a secret safety net where the government has some sort of supply of economic stability in which can be used to continue and run the government until all corruption is sought out (weeded out) and plans can be made to reboot the government. I also believe there should be a system in which the government can keep the economy running at a bare minimum or find a safety plan to keep the value of the currency alive.

My fourth idea is if the other two previous idea are undo-able. It is a plan to reboot the government and its laws to a previous date. Consider this like a system restore point on a windows computer. When there is a problem and the computer crashes, a system restore helps reboot the computer to a previous and functional time period.

My fifth idea has more to do with economics. Margret Thatcher proposed to freeze export and import and prioritizing on building internal growth and rebuilding the economic infrastructure within the country. I believe this can be done by lowering taxes for individuals, households and businesses, and encouraging and giving incentives for entrepreneurs and small businesses. I don't believe corporations should be encouraged because of their already establishment of wealth. I believe long lasting growth will come from non-corporate entities. Furthermore, once economic growth becomes plentiful, productive and infrustructure becomes stable, then the idea of reopening import and export can be considered.

Currency-less economies and state-created back-up currency

Should there be such things as a no currency system? I believe it’s a good idea perhaps to switch to such a system in the future. However, with today’s economic infrastructure and possible exploitation, I believe it’s not a good idea. The reason for this is because I believe there should be technologies that should exists prior for sustainable, potential mass manufacturing, if not a mass surplus of goods and resources. I personally believe the nation, along with the world, is not ready for such an economic system. If such a system were to be done today, it would most likely be done through a credit if not debt system. To simply state I believe it would be nearly impossible. I believe a currency-less society, such as that of Star Treks, can be done however, is a long while away if it were to be implemented properly. Moving on, if the economy were to collapse, I believe it would not be a good idea to go to a currency-less system or to switch to a foreign or new currency. I believe it would be a good idea for every states to instead have their own version of currency or perhaps a form of goods or any natural resource to back up their currency. By each state in the US having their own state-created currency system as back up in case the economy crashes, they can make it easier to perhaps transition back into the gold standard or have another means of economic survive and sustainability. I also believe that maybe going backwards or transitioning to an earlier time period in history, a state could also find alternative ways to survive a financial collapse.

List of futurist ideas

  • It seems obvious for the possibility that holograms could exist in the future if not secretly existing right now. I imagine a byproducts of holograms is a new form of data that could be discovered prior. Using my imagination, I want to say this new form of data could have properties different from that of analog, digital and other forms of transmission capabilities. I believe this new form of data will be proof of the link between how the big bang began and the various complex equations of reality as we know it. I believe it will be used for the transition into dimensional technology and exploration. In essence this form of data will explore and possibly allow for the transition of the physical and the material. Perhaps later, technologies will be developed where individuals (as if cybernetic enhancements) will utilize this technology on their very selves, thus becoming that of hologramic form which can transition into the material form. Briefly stated, individuals will be able to transition from a physical material state into a ghost-like hologramic state (maybe plasma or light-like would be a good example) and from that state they will be able to transition back. This technology can also be utilized in vehicles. Whenever they travel, using traditional methods (vector traveling), they can hop in their physical vehicle, turn into this hologramic form and manually or systematically drive on the road. They can drive at any speed or appear to their destination instantly. When they drive, this technology will allow other vehicles to pass through each other and not hit object on the road. One can even drive through structures, buildings, in the sky, perhaps out into space, or even travel into the earth. Taking this idea a step further, they can even use this technology for dimensional, time, or even for interstellar travel, This technology could also perhaps allow for vehicles and individuals to utilize privacy by turning completely invisible or to reshape into something more convenient.

  • Dimensional arrays are what the mirrored realities are called. An example, it's as if putting a mirror up to another mirror and seeing multiple reflections.

  • I believe in the future humanity will conclude that a good and productive society doesn't need to operate with a controlled system or any sort. I think the concepts of government will be reduced to local or smaller forms of systemic control. Perhaps cities or communities will have their own form of government that will operate in a harmonious and responsible way with other governments and societies.

  • I believe a global community will be established through the harmonious cooperation of all governments.

  • I believe there will be such machines to output logical ideas and simulations in case there is a potential threat to the planet. These machines will then automatically communicate with weaponized systems which operate with complex, socially safe, and hidden modulations.

  • Individuals in the future will have different moral, ethics, and overall thought processes from that of today. Everything they learn comes though educational technologies (possibly using light data/ technologies to transmit large quantities of data to necessary parts of their brains) in which allows them to understand humanity from it's very stages of evolution to the current period. In addition this technology teaches them every subject and material from the origins of man from the past to the present day. This gives them the ability to reason, calculate, and learn in an extreme and fast manner. I would like to state it would be possible for a child to be a researcher in hyper quantum computing mechanics. Nonetheless, their individual properties and personalities are preserved as the result of their learning does not effect the part of their brain which is and should be kept unique to them. In a sense, they can still be kids and do art and learn subjects that interest them. Overall, this form of technology and purpose of education is simply a tool for them to understand the basic principles of understanding humanity, current sciences, and what it is they can achieve. Moving on, they get to choose whenever the want to retire from life permanently, however even after permanently retired, they can still be brought back and re-assimilated. If I could imagine such a society, it would be a society just like that of today; however, living to fulfill a purpose, enjoy life, to do that which is relative of their interest, raise a traditional family, or go out into the universe or dimensionaly to explore, create, discover or protect. Nevertheless, I would like to imagine individuals in such a society are not all attached to the desires of science, they might also have interest in the next greatest unknown or to rediscovering the antiquities of past civilization life.

  • Individuals in the future personally develop morals and ethics which are productive and meaningful to society. With such, they are also given a lot of powerful technologies. With the use of a heavy moral and ethical personally developed structure, they feel a moral obligation to use their technologies for good.

  • There's a point in time where the future meets the past as a main rally point where the future also becomes part of the past, so that future habitants and the habitants of that point in time live as one society.

  • (perhaps stated before) Individuals have a hive mind system, they can think as one, or if they choose, think can individually. If they think as one, they are connected to the rest of humanity. This means they understand everything everyone else knows. However, if they desire, they can turn off this function and become an individualistic thinker. The way I conceived this concept was think what if our thoughts were like a semi-complex mental city of information, you could explore or retrieve information simultaneously with everyone else of the same species.

  • I believe we are coming close to the age of discrete particle technology. Further development with this technology will allows people to create materials by using lasers to redirect particles and assimilate or create solid objects (perhaps bio later on in the future). This will also possible further the technological advancements of teleportation and maybe even cloning.

My Self-Created Reality VS the Objective Reality

I can honestly say I live in reality but don’t consider it my reality. This doesn’t mean I choose to live in a completely fictional word of my own imagination or hobbies, it just means that I find more value in my self-created environment then having to endure the participation of living in an objective reality. Nevertheless, over a period of time, I have come to realize there is a level of disconnection of how I want to see my reality because of how the objective reality is vastly erratic (both structured and unstructured) and uncontrollable by nature. I feel perhaps there's a level of detachment because it’s far from the reality where I long to live in. I believe it’s important to state that the objective reality seems to interest me very little because of such undesired conditions, such as bad events, negative influences, unprecedented dangers, and obstructions by the works of others; not to mention subjected to the judgments and conditions of comparing oneself to other individuals and variants set forth by inescapable cultural values. Perhaps the hidden reason is that there seems to perhaps be of no place or relevance for individuals such as myself or a position in which I can be most useful. Such a position would most likely have to be self-discovered and self-attained; therefore, I would like to state that I feel my personal reality lies elsewhere. I believe the reality I find most comfortable and enjoyable is the reality that is in my mind, that of which I create in my art, entrepreneurial ideas, and my stories. I personally consider my stories to be my home or a sacred place where I am able to always visit or find an escape from the objective reality. These are ideas and place others cannot obstruct or negatively influence. If the objective reality were to have the same level of engagement and comfort as that of my self-created reality then participating in the objective reality would be much enjoyable. However, dealing with an objective reality where one cannot find equal enjoyment, feel restricted, cannot express oneself completely, and encounters judgment by others, a fictional world within oneself is much more appealing. Not to sound pitiful, but I joke around with my brother telling him if I were to ever be locked up, imprisoned, or held captive, I would be fine because in my imagination, thoughts, art and literature, I would always have a place to explore. Nevertheless, it seems logical to have a balance of both the self-created reality and the objective reality.  After all, no one can strictly live on idea, thoughts, and imagination alone.

My Opinion on the Grandfather Paradox

First of all some of you may or may not know what a grandfather paradox is. For those who don’t know, the grandfather paradox is the concept developed by Nathaniel Schachner of what would happen if a person went back in time and murdered or convinced his past grandfather not to get married, thus having that person who traveled in the past never being born. Many physicists believe that the person traveling to murder of convince their grandfather would have never been born in the first place or that none of the event would have ever happened in the first place. Other physics believe that if such a case were to happen that there could be a tear in the space-time continuum or that natural order and laws of physics would affect and fix the problem naturally. Many story writers believe that the individual traveling back in time would simply disappear. I believe something different would happen. I believe if one were to go back and murder their grandparent or convince them not to marry, one would create a new alternate timeline(or alternate reality) where one continues to live on, but could have potentially have altered that specific timeline in which one would have potentially would have never been born. The reason I believe this is because I believe the “arrow of time”, which is the idea that time travels in a straight line, (from the result that the universe is pulling away and becoming from what was once structured and organized to messy and unbalanced), is actually made up of infinite possibilities as becoming definite as time goes on. Once a possibility becomes definite, it becomes part of a definite and unchangeable timeline. In other words, time is like a web of infinite possibilities. As time occurs, it draws one of those future possibilities of what could occur and becomes the present and then resulting to becoming the past which cannot be changed or altered. With my idea of an infinite number of possibilities for future events, it also gives me an idea of how alternate realities could exist. In conclusion, even though there are practically an infinite number of possible present and future outcomes, everyone has the ability to change and shape their own reality in the present which will result in becoming part of our timeline in the past; therefore, if you see your time traveling version of yourself, have a beer with them, see what kind of reality they come from, and keep an eye out in case they try to murder you.
