A Scene and Philosophical Revision of One's Life

After I completed a 3D project of mine, I sat on my desk and stared at my wall and white board. There is still so many thing I want to do and accomplish. I stood there staring and suddenly had the idea to step back from my own way of thinking and examine myself in the third person.

I stood looking at my desk and around my room and began philosophizing. If I was a stranger and I was looking around my room for the first time what would I think of myself? Immediately my attention turned towards the white board filled with Japanese sentences, kanjis, lists, and ideas. I began to read everything that I wrote and looked at the Japanese I had written on the board and disregarded its meaning as if it was symbols and drawing. It was difficult to point out my own stereotype, because there was so many thing that seemed ordinary and other things that didn’t quite fit any stereotype. The things that didn’t seem ordinary that caught my attention was the sword I had in the corner of my room, the wall full of artwork, and a realistic M4 A4 airsoft rifle in the other corner of my room. It seemed looking at myself in the third person, or god view, it was hard to tell who I was. This way of thinking led me to further meditate or see things from a different perspective as I began reviewing myself and what I had currently done so far in my life.

I took a couple steps back. I took in the view of my entire room and I thought to myself. This was the room of Stanley Janoski. He is a 26 year old college student living with his father. This is where he currently is in his life. Right now, he is desiring to accomplish a new project that will help him further his career. Recently he has accomplished making a new 3D art piece for his portfolio. He is very proud about what he has accomplished and where his skills have led him.

Almost like a cinematic I began walking around my room and as if a movie set on display. I walked around looking at all the objects I had in my room. I looked at the Japanese Boss coffee can I had sitting on my white board shelf and analyzed it with obsessed precision. I became fascinated by how I arranged things, what was going through my head when I wrote things on the board and how certain items I had interest in showed off what I liked.

I looked around some more and took some time to look at my iphone, ipod and windows tablet I had lying on my desk. Then I looked around the room one more time. I thought about the idea of what if I was in the future and I took the time to go back to the past to look around my room in it’s present condition. Then I thought to myself, one day these things I have at this moment in time will all eventually be meaningless, worthless, and obsolete.  It fascinated me to think about how items could change in the future, but this is what they look like right now presently. After about half an hour of observing, analyzing and philosophizing, I sat on my bed and thought to myself. I’m a very interesting person, and to have the ideas to think the way I do about things, amazes me. It would be interesting for others to do the same. Then I had the idea that it would be interesting to stop and analyze someone else and review their bedroom. Perhaps I would find many interesting things I never knew about in another person. It would be interesting if this could somehow alter my view of them or see the unique characteristics they might have that no one knows about.

My Difficulties with Friends

To me friends are more than individuals I associate and share similar interests with. They are individuals that help uplift, excite, and bring joy to my life. I find the most greatful friends to overlook another’s faults, forgive the unintentional, and help each other when another’s at their worst. In essence they are an extension of my own family. Although I heavily value friendships, I personally often find it rather difficult to keep in touch with friends. I’m not sure why this is. I feel like it’s work to keep in touch. Perhaps it’s because of my introversion or that I prefer others to visit me instead of me going to them. Nevertheless, once I make friends, I will always value another’s friendship.

My Modern Ideas to Create in the Future

Throughout my time in college, I have often spent a lot of time thinking and dreaming of things I wanted to do or make if I had money. There are many things I would love to start inventing and building as soon as I have money. Although some ideas are highly unlikely to be utilized, some ideas I have simply developed a devotion to implement as soon as I obtain an enough capital. I am sharing my ideas because I welcome others to take my ideas and develop them in case I am unable to do so.

The Great North American Trail

This is by far my most ambitious idea that I cannot wait to develop as soon as I get enough capital. This idea features a paved road from Houston Texas all the way up to New York. This trail is free to use and it was made for people to walk and ride bikes all around the United States. It goes through various terrains and wilderness sights. It tries to stay away from suburban areas as much as possible. I was also thinking of adding quotes along the trail. One section for biblical quotes. Another section for Confucius quotes. Another section for my own quotes. Finally a section for famous quotes by movie stars, people in history, philosophers, and even videogames. Another idea would be to start with the beginning of history and end with the date in which the trail is complete. I suggest both ideas at the same time. In a way it can be somewhat of a pilgrimage to learning and understanding humanity. In addition, along the trail there will be many commercial stores, restaurants, and hotels for travelers to visit. I also want to include free log shacks along the path with pay phones for people to stay in.

Additional Vehicle Technologies

I came up with a couple vehicle technology ideas. Some are bad ideas and some are something you might possibly desire. My first idea is a device that allows a person to directly communicate to another person in another vehicle. In more detail, an individual in one care can use a device that physically points at another car and communicates by sending a transmission directly to the other car’s speakers. This can obviously be seen as a bad idea, especially in traffic. My second idea is the use of a banner that goes across the front or back upper or lower windshield to display messages to other cars. Although this can be very handy, it can also be severely abused. My final idea is an idea I like the most. It utilizes a transparent mat that fold across the inner front windshield of a car. Then a projector is set up on the dash. This can then be used as a hud (heads up display) to play games while driving on the road. For example, imagine playing a game where you shoot other cars and they explode as you go by them, or while sitting in traffic, using your phone as a gun and shooting virtual guys that pop out of the windows of other vehicles in front of you. With the use of a radio and music, driving can be the most fun part of the day, especially sitting in traffic.

The American Shinkansen (bullet train)

I think it would be an interesting idea to connect major cities in the US with the use of a Japanese made bullet train. These bullet trains can be used both above and below ground, and perhaps even in the ocean. This will allow people to travel to cities without the dangers of flying.

Ideas for Mobile Devices

I asked a cell phone service provider if they had plans for texting only services. Unfortunately, texting isn’t free. It would be interesting and maybe a good idea to make texting a free service no matter where you are, what device you have, and if possible without the need for internet service. In addition to that maybe the ability to text another person without knowing who you are. I thought this idea would be interesting for those who want to ask questions to others without wanting to be made known. It can also be used to get to know other people without the need for physical interaction.

Another idea I had was creating a device that could transmit and convert signals. This device could be used to get free internet or convert signals to get free radio and maybe television. I believe this device could be a bad idea because of the affects it would have to internet, radio, and television providers.

Another idea I came up with is something I call free-form information. This is having a device or application that leaves notes in simulated physical space. A scenario of this idea could be the following: imagine walking to a restaurant and to point your phone or look into the phone's camera feature to find notes or reviews of what other people left behind. You could even look at the menu or the restaurant's webpage. The core of this idea is to find information that could be left anywhere for others to read, visit, or share in a virtual or simulated- physical environment.

Nerve Center Recreational Facilities

I often complain how Houston does not have anything to see, visit, or do without the use of money. I was planning to make certain facilities that anyone could visit that has plenty of free activities to do. I call these places nerve centers. These places are both large outdoor and indoor recreational facility like that on a cruise ship. It’s open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All activities and food are free. This facility also allows sessions for inspirational talkers, teachers to teach free subjects, and hands on workshops. This facility would also be a good chance for companies and corporations to sponsor events.

In addition to this idea, there are couch areas with their own television sets, people can bring in game consoles or even host their own tournaments free of charge. Essentially, I want this the place to be for people of all walks of life to interact with each other and meet each other. I also want to include that I don’t mind if people live at this facility; however, it’s not a place for the homeless; nevertheless, there are showers and places for people to sleep. If I could imagine this facility I would like to think of it as an open miniature city or a city within a building where everything free.

I was also thinking of another facility that allows for artists to come together to display their work or create amazing art. It’s a place for painters to paint, modelers to model, animators to animate, and designers to design, and cooks to cook. Nevertheless, thinking about the nerve center idea, I can incorporate this idea into that idea and have a specific section for art.

Frugal-living cells

This idea I call cell-living is an idea I got for those who want to live around $200 a month. The idea starts with the purchasing of an air-conditioned storage facility and convert it into a small one room apartment. Some locations might even be as low as $100 a month as it only has electricity and restroom and baths separate. There are conditions however to renting a cell. The individual cannot take drugs and needs proof of a drug test, needs proof of productivity or proof of good community service, has no history of incarceration, and is open to adapting the culture of cell-living. The culture of cell-living is that of Asian origin. People living under these conditions need to adapt a sense of humble and respectable  etiquette for those around them. It's critical for an individual to develop a sense of harmony around others in tight areas.

Homeless hotel

This idea comes with the idea of 3d printing houses. I had an idea where a extremely hard plastic can be made and be assembled into a homeless house. The location is no greater than a shed and has it's own built in bathroom with a water-rain collection system for toilet flush and a water hose connection for showers and sinks. The entrances are on the sides. There are two entrances front on back. A plastic light-penetrating wall shields the interior where there are five capsule hotel-like cells; top and bottom. On the interior wall is a shelf/basket which resembles a compartment like the ones behind a church bench. Inside the shelf are books, textbooks, newspapers, how to manuals, a bible, and other items possibly donated by locals. The book materials are also donated from second hand stores to be used to uplift and inspire homeless people to create, achieve, and learn new things. Although rather unnecessary, I would like to use my own ethics to teach the homeless how to be peaceful, do good, and keep harmony with each other.

SOS meals on wheels

This is a service for the homeless and poverty which takes groceries that are thrown out by stores and loads them up to be given to the homeless and communities in poverty.

Social Centers

I had an idea where people of all ages could come together and do social activities, art, and tutorials. This places can also be a place a person could come everyday and obtain resources like where to find a job, how to do thing, where to go for seminars, and other things related to entertainment and events. I think the location's biggest emphasis should be creating small businesses. Nonetheless, I always wanted a place to go and hang out and meet new people, especially meet people with similar interests or people i can do stuff with. I think since there are some shy people, introducing them to others is also a good idea. I also want it to be a place open to be whoever a person wants to be despite age and mentality. I think it would be cool to have people who are middle aged still have a connection with teenagers and communicate without any barriers. I think a place like this could connect people, create innovative ideas, and create opportunity in small business.  (I think I posted this idea before, but it's whatever.)

Imagining a Free Culture Society

I recently came up with the name free culture society as a name that reflects the values, views, behaviors and perhaps systems that demonstrate a different social structure of interactions and the acceptance of unusual behaviors (personalized behavioral norms) in society that normally would be contradictory to the standard norms (what is perceived to be considered normal) in society. Sociologically speaking, it’s the reformation of social culture to a more personalized and open structure of social culture. It sounds controversial, but it’ll make logical sense the more I describe it. A free culture society is in need of several condition for its functionality.
  1. The possible elimination of crime.
  2. A change in social mentality and behavior.
The reason I state there needs to be the possible elimination of crime is because having a free culture society can result in possible harm to an individual because of the possibility that one can be care free and make themselves a vulnerable target. I also state the views of society would have to change, because as of the moment, individuals in society, especially in western society, see things in what I perceive as a very individualistic. It's often the result of negative culture or sub cultural influences. For example, prejudices, the use of stereotypes, the use of negative judgment, ignorance, irrationality, or the negative assumption of another. This would have to change into a more ethical, accepting, moral, free thinking, harmonious, common sense, and even out of the box way of social thinking. Although possibly sounding utopic, it is really the a byproduct of social harmony.

To invision this idea, imagine the following scenarios: Imagine having the ability to sleep on a park bench, front lawn or any side walk just because you felt like it. You could sleep there all night and day and not worry about another person stealing from you or doing you any harm. Imagine if you were in need of financial investment to start a business and a stranger was willing to help you, leaving it up to you if you wanted to pay him back or not. Imagine having emotional difficulties and going to a random stranger who was willing to listen and be emotionally supportive. Imagine losing your wallet on the bus and to find out it has been found and turned in. Also upon receiving it, you discover your money is still left untouched inside your wallet. Imagine asking a stranger to sit down with you and having them share food with you. Imagine being able to perform an action you would feel uncomfortable doing in public, yoga for example, and being able to do it without anybody judging you. Furthermore, regarding this idea, imagine acting, dressing, or talking freely the way you wan without being criticized or ridiculed. These are ideas of what I think should be the results of a free culture society. I want it to reflect more on personal wisdom and happiness without the need to care what others think or the desire to judge others. Instead, use it to help uplift and encourage others to do what makes them happy and to feel free to express themselves without any resentment.

Deviance and My Short Hypothesis On the Elimination of Crime

It feels to me crime is running rampant more than ever in today’s world. It’s my belief that all crime exists because of the lack of civility and the imbalance or abuse of the five institutions; family, economy, government, education, and religion. Before proceeding further, I would like to state the theories coined by well-known structural functionalists, conflict, and symbolic interactionalist theorists on behalf of recognizing the behaviors of deviance.

Robert Merton’s, a structural functionalist famous for his anomie theory of deviance, he believed the reason for deviance is because of the gap between the goals of society and the means for achieving those goals. He refers to goal being seen as status symbols of society. He describes five types of deviants: conformist, innovator, ritualist, retreatist, and rebel. A conformist accepts both goals of society and the approve means of achieving those goals. An innovator accepts the goals of society but rejects the approve means for achieving those goals. A ritualist rejects the goals of society but accepts the means for achieving those goals. A retreatist rejects both the goals and the approved means for achieving the goals of society. A rebel rejects the goals of society and the means for achieving those goals.

Albert Cohen, a conflict theorist with his theory of delinquent subcultures, states a person of deviance or not depends on the sociocultural environment and social interaction. Because it’s possible for a young individuals to not cope with a middle class environment, a delinquent subculture may develop.

According to Howard S. Becker, a symbolic interactionalist with his labeling theory of deviance, he attempts to explain the process of a person receiving a deviant identity. He states three deviant acts: an individual exhibits a behavior; a guideline established for deviance and conformity says “that is deviant behavior”. A person or group of people decide that because deviant behavior has been exhibited, that the person is a deviant; thus establishing a label. He also established three important principles of the labeling perspective: behavior by itself is not always criminal or normal; all people commit deviant acts at some point; once the label of deviant is applied, there are consequences for the deviant.

Criminologist William J. Chambliss corresponds labeling with social class in his theory of labeling perspectives. He states the lower the social class, the more likely one is to be labeled a deviant. He also states the higher the social class the less likely one is to be labeled a deviant.

Edwin Sutherland, another symbolic interactionalist, explains how his theory of differential association of deviance believes that individuals learn to be deviant. He proposes four principles for deviance: Criminal behavior is learned through interactions with others; criminal behavior is learned within primary groups; we become criminal when definitions favorable to the violation of law outweigh the unfavorable ones; we are most apt to become criminal when our interactions are frequent, long-lasting, intense and happen early in life.

By understanding the behavior of deviance, we can further understand the conditions that could lead to possible criminal behavior.

My beliefs, although similar to those that are symbolic interactionalists, utilizes ideas from all schools of sociology. The views from all schools of thought are very knowledgeable; however, I want to personally analyze more on every possibility that could lead to crime, because crime has the possibility to be the result of the actions of many factors. This is a list of my views on why individuals turn to crime:

  1. The belief of not obtaining one’s goals.
  2. One’s belief to be a victim of poverty.
  3. Public or private perception or oppositions to the five institutions.
  4. Association through environment.
  5. Result of family complexes (possibly early in child development).
  6. Action on behalf of the actuality of being poor.
  7. Enactment due to an emotional response or arousal (desire of thrills or longing for attention).
  8. Obtaining of status.
  9. Belief of inferiority.
  10. The resolution of conflict, discomfort or unwillingness to comply with discomfort.
  11. The use or result of personal characteristics (seven deadly sins; emphasize the utilization of jealousy).
  12. Problematic mental conditions, sanity, or lustful intent. Paranoia or unwillingness to deal with emotions or anger, for example. Additional mental disorder such as the harming of others for idealogic harm of oneself or for personal pleasure.
  13. Discrimination.
  14. Revenge.
  15. Action on behalf of religious ideology.
  16. The desire for secrecy or to hide something of relative importance.
  17. The disregard for the safety of others.
  18. Anomic understanding of society.
  19. Drug and substance affiliation.
  20. To gain publicity or cause social disturbance or fear.
  21. Discontempt for authority.
  22. Personal desire or change from ideology, culture, or deviant subculture. An example can be the ideology of following anarchistic views, “I do it because I can” or “I want to watch burn” motive. This can also include the desire for a sustainable entitlement.
  23. Relating to the wanting of status or materialism of others for personal or possible gain.
  24. The conflict or desire for wealth.
  25. Unwillingness or discontempt to participate in a current system.
  26. Unwillingness to cooperate or accept social changes.

These are a few ideas I came up with on my own. I decided to state these without coordinated organization because I believe there is a need to perhaps look at some of these ideas with more emphasis in understanding how it could lead to crime or possible deviance.

Regarding the idea to what could lead others to criminal or deviant behavior, I have come up with my own solutions to what I think could be the solution to stopping crime.

  1. Making use of possible correction or reformation of the five institutions.
  2. The reformation of unnecessary laws (referring to the removal of unnecessary red tape and promotion of personal freedom).
  3. Further development and use of criminal psychology.
  4. The reformation of a more fair, common sense, equal treatment to crime justice system (I would personally add resolution based to the time spent in incarceration to also factor civility to one’s judgment, thus possibly reinforcing civility to society and possible deviants).
  5. Possible resolution of utilizing technology for technological affiliations (white hacking).
  6. The civil use of ethics and possible reinforcement of civility, rationality, logic and etiquette.
  7. The reintroduction, promotion and teaching of morals (a good idea is to reintroduce biblical texts because of the moral lessons it provides; for example, the teaching of peace and benevolence or Mose's ten commandments).
  8. The reformation or reduction of daily financial cost or the costs of living.
  9. Promotion and derestriction of small business operational standards.
  10. Asserting personal fire arm protection
  11. Persuasion for more family socialization.
  12. Promotion of innocents and a more child friendly environment
  13. Promotion of a more civilized authority system.
  14. The reformation or justly assertion of government agencies and policies.
  15. The promotion of national patriotism (so society has something that bring them together).
  16. Abundance and innovation of resources; especially food production.
  17. The use, reinforcement, reformation and promotion of education (education is the most important institution to a functional, free thinking, civil, and prosperous society).

I believe by using these ideas, crime can be stopped dramatically if not completely.
In conclusion, although not a very detailed and precisely explained, I believe it is possible to stop crime by understanding the reasons, effects, and motives that is associated with deviant and criminal behavior.

Relationships and Sexuality

In this  blog post I will discuss relationships and sexuality. I will address relationships first then include sexuality at the end.

Before I dig into the colossal topic of relationship, I will discuss my perspective of the manifest functions of relationships. Foremost, throughout this topic, I will be referring the instance of relationship regarding to the love of another. I’ll begin by analyzing my perspective of the manifest (obvious) functions of a relationship.

  1. Companionship. Many enter a relationship to be with someone related to personal desire found in another individual.
  2. Emotional fulfillment. To seek emotional fulfilment in being with another or to fulfil a personal condition.Care. It’s possible to be in a relationship to care for a person or to care for each other because of disability.
  3. Possible gain. This could be referring to possible exploitation or gain, such as sexual fulfillment, or financial gain.
  4. Family relations. In some parts of the world relationship partners are chosen by family.

Now that the manifest function is out of the way, l will further examine and state my perspective regarding relationships. I will first start with my own personal experience with relationships.

I was about thirteen when I first entered a relationship. It was with a girl name Gisele. I lived in Brasil at the time and I would describe it as very innocent. I first met Gisele after falling in love with her watching a spice girls performance she did on stage with a group of friends at school. Being that I was very shy, I turned to my friends I shared class with to want to know more about her. Eventually, one of my friends got her attention and brought her to me. Very shy and barely able to speak, I introduced myself and we became friends. Because I was heavily shielded by my mother outside of school life, I kept our friendship by hanging out with her and getting to know her during lunch. After the school year ended, she gave me a kiss on the cheek with gave my first full hearted feeling of being in love. It was the purest experience of love I had ever felt. Sadly the relationship ended after I became home-schooled do to financial instability and later returned to the United States.

My next encounter with love was in high school when I had a crush on a girl named Ashley, after I had followed her in the attempt to be her friend and telling her how I felt, I had discovered her involvement in inappropriate activities regard two men in a single night. I became heart broken and moved on from that experience.

Now that I have establish my own personal history with relationships, I shall discuss what I have learned, observed, explored, and confronted regarding relationships. This is my perspective on the ethics of relationships.

Before I began learning about relationships, I thought relationships and love was a mushy, unimportant, meaningless feeling or a feeling only females shared. I thought love was a topic made up so that others would have an excuse for their inappropriate actions. I was rather immature at the time; however, since then I learned there is so much more one can learn from a relationship.

In life, I believe everyone is their own character on a stage or on the pages of a book. When one interacts with another, it’s as if one is entering on stage and becoming part of a script or being introduces in the pages of another’s book. One is essentially taking on a role in another’s life. The significance or importance of that role varies. Of course the possible reason for entering another’s story or script is because of a desire, or “the desire to be.” As Shakespeare would say.

Moving on to my belief on ethics in a relationship, I believe one should love themselves before seeking a relationship with another. They should understand themselves and why they seek a relationship. There should be more than the phrase, “Because I love them”. Often this is the response to an immature view and the longing for love but not knowing why or how it works. In addition, I think it’s best to have something in common or an interest; therefore, establishing a base to build upon a relationship. Another good idea is to understand what it is the other individual finds in oneself. Surely everyone has a motive in a relationship. By understanding each other in a relationship, one can understand the motives of another and avoid getting hurt in advance. It’s important to understand that rarely there’s a case for love at first sight. In an early relationship at an early age, it’s common for males to normally enter a relationship for pleasure or status. Also at an early age females enter for emotional satisfaction or status. At an ealy age in a relationship, I believe it’s crucial to understand that by stating ones position of liking or having feelings for another, one is being honest, however doing runs the risk and vulnerability of exposing one’s emotions. This could either lead to satisfaction or regret; therefore should be done with extreme caution. Nonetheless, not too often do relationships in an early age last. Often they end in drama, dramatic and life changing results. For example, once rejected one could have the inability to trust another, not desiring future relationships or once having a taste for lust, crave more. However, when in a loving relationship, one will most likely experience changes in one’s personality and changes in the way they see the opposite gender. If I may very quickly add, the use of different chemicals and use of hormones to the brain from the result of stimuli related to the opposite gender, may also result in a person acting irrationally, clumsy or not their usual selves. Thus is in its true statement that love is essentially like a drug by producing the chemicals necessary to seek a mate.

I believe there are many ethics to be utilized in a relationship. To start, I believe both males and females should respect each other equally. Males are not the same as females and females are not the same as males. For example, males see things from a black and white procedural perspective; females see thing from a grey multi analytical and emotional perspective. Understanding the differences will provide insight to the inner thoughts and the differences between a gender’s perspective. Moving on, it’s proper for a male to clean, act more mature, well mannered, be well groomed, and dress decently when seeking the attention of a female.  Females love men that can take care of themselves. If I may add more detail, I have found that some races have preferences. I have found that Latina woman prefer, or don’t mind, manly looking hairy guys; Asian woman prefer well groomed and hairless men. I perceive this to be because cultural traits. Understanding the differences in another will help with one’s own relationship or search of relationship.

Sometimes when one enters a relationship, they find dissatisfaction which results to negative behavior, conflict, and eventually to separation. It’s essential to learn to cooperate, communicate effectively, address mistakes, and seek forgiveness; otherwise the results will lead to more dissatisfaction. For females, I believe it’s important to understand that males do not think on behalf of emotions. Emotional responses may get one’s point across; however, will most likely lead to more confrontation with the male gender. In addition, the biggest issue or push for conflict for the male gender is the excessive use of complaining and instigation. Another thing to keep in mind for males is that females get jealous very easily, it’s best to have caution when around others and avoid unnecessary drama. Furthermore, I believe if there is conflict or confrontation, it should lead to progress, solution, forgiveness and understanding. It's my opinion the base of all conflicts is because of misunderstanding. In times of conflict I think it’s a good suggestion to utilize personal space to clear one’s mind and reflect on mistakes. Understanding one’s mistakes can help them from repeating their mistakes again. Furthermore, I’m a firm believer that time heals most wounds. I think it’s essential to remember that part of a relationship is in consideration to how you treat, act and cooperate with others. Relationship is never one sided. In the event of separation, one shouldn’t fear letting go. There are more individuals that have the ability to make one happy. I believe finding another individuals to be in a relationship with is a matter of compatibility and not of destiny. Moreover, for those in a relationship, it’s right for one to respect another if they already have a partner. I believe it’s great to keep a friendship; however, one should do so in consideration to the other’s partner to avoid unnecessary conflict. Furthermore, by understanding how one’s actions may lead to a partner’s reaction or response in your own relationship, one can prevent conflict or unnecessary drama. This leads me to my next section, honesty.

I have taken the time to write about honesty, because there’s a lot that goes into being honest in a relationship. I strongly believe that honesty is the most important golden rule in a relationship. I believe one should always be honest with oneself and with another when in a relationship. One should be honest when entering a relationship and when undergoing a relationship. The results will always be a relationship in which is true, functional and rewarding. Being honest can be painful, however, it will always benefit oneself in the end. Part of being honest is staying true to oneself. If you disagree with something, state your disagreement and why using a rational answer. It’s a good idea to remember part of being in a relationship is finding fulfillment and functionality with each other. It seems obvious that both members in a relationship should make each other happy. A strong suggestion is one should never let another make one’s decision, think for oneself, walk all over oneself, or force one to do things they oppose. It a good idea that one should still obtain a certain level of personal space or freedom and perhaps a list of goals or desires one wants to achieve in life. One should work with one’s partner in understanding their preferences.  It’s also important to keep in mind the feelings of another person, I do believe it’s wrong to act in an immature manner in most cases. Part of being mature is letting your partner know, and not guess, what and why one feels the way they do. By finding understanding one can find a solution. Furthermore, I believe a great partner in a loving relationship will encourage and help to achieve another’s desires.

Now that honesty is out of the way, I would like to address obsession. There are many females that can become obsessed very easily to things they find attractive. The reason for this is because in females the same part of the brain that responds for attraction also is shared with the same responses for obsession. This is the reason why a female can easily find obsession with a male partner. Controversially, I found if one is obsessed, and one does not share the same feeling with the obsessed individual, there are no other ways to politely address one’s need for personal space. Unfortunately, this only leaves with the sole method to demand them to leave one alone in the most direct way possible, even if it’s not within one’s personality to state such a demand. The reason for this is if one is polite or allows the obsessed individual to gain personal space, this would indicate a motive in which they believe they have a chance of gaining one’s affection. Once an obsessed individual has gained personal space, the only way to get them to leave is with direct confrontation which leads to emotional devastation. It’s wise to understand one cannot satisfy every person. One should respect that others enter a relationship to not feel alone. Nevertheless, one should never be forced to like another. One has the right to find happiness; especially in a person which they feel they can be happy with.

Now that I have given various suggestion and ideas of what I believe are the ethics of a relationship, I will state my analysis on how to find the right person.
  1. Understand yourself. Understand what your preferences, personality types, and what it is you want to find in another person. I highly advise making a list and writing down everything you would like to find in a dream partner.
  2. Understand the differences between a male and female. By doing this, one can avoid future conflicts.
  3. The adventure to finding another person. This can be simple and can be hard. One perhaps already has someone in mind, can physically look for a partner, or make use of a dating site. Another good idea would be to go where you believe you can find someone that caters towards your liking. When you find someone it's important to be yourself, polite, and tell them how you truly feel. In addition the best way to approach a person you like is through a friend, collogue, or acquaintance.
  4. The importance of being honest and being yourself. I believe it’s important to state your intentions and to be as honest as possible so that the other individual sees you for who you really are. If one has defects, one can always improve. I think a good book to help improve oneself is the art of seduction. Confidence is ones most valuable asset.
  5. What to look for in a person. It’s a good idea to have some sort of a foundation. Such as similarities, like similar interests or similar goals.  Another good idea is utilizing zodiac signs, even if one does not believe in them.
  6. Utilizing ethics. It’s essential to use good and effective communication, finding solutions, having self-discipline to ignore what’s negative, having understanding, and be willing to forgive.  It’s also important to be a gentleman. Be kind, collective, cheerful, understanding, and compassionate. It’s best to avoid being creepy; if one is being creepy, it’s best to apologize. I believe being in a relationship is part brain reading. One should learn to understand the patterns of behavior in another so that mistakes can be avoided and instead result in satisfaction.
  7. No means no, yes means yes. Rejection is always going to be one’s greatest fear. I think part of love is accepting rejection. If one is understanding, one can learn from rejections. For me, I think there should be a three tries rule. If one is rejected three times, then it’s a good idea to move on.
  8. Approach methodology. I have thought up various methods on how to get the attention of a person. Weather they work or not is questionable. My first method is to befriend the other individual and get to know them. This allows the opportunity for you to get to know them or try to get their attention to see who you are or gain interest to like you. The second method is pushing yourself onto someone. I consider this the bar man’s approach. This is where an individual approaches another individual and tries to sweep them off their feet.  This would most likely lead to a temporary relationship, however. In this case the art of seduction is a very insightful read. From the bar man’s approach one can further get to know the individual. The next approach utilizes a Romeo and Juliet-like method in which one tries to get the attention of another by using romance. For example, the use of letters, gifts or playing guitar for her. I found the use of gifts to be a good idea to see if anything sparks or not. If nothing sparks at least it was a nice thing to do. Nevertheless, regarding to this previous method, often this is seen as adorable. The following methods are what I have thought up that could be useful. The worst thing that can happen is a situation which could end in rejection or worst, a restraining order. Furthermore, it's important to be creative and cunning.

Now that I have addressed how to find the right person, I will talk about more of my personal perspective regarding relationships.

I believe one should take a long time in a relationship to get to know what their partner is like. The reason for this is because I don’t believe in divorce and if I enter a relationship, I want to do so with the intention to someday marry them. I’m sure many in the world see it differently where they rather find someone of interest and date them to get to know them; however, in most cases it’s obvious someone ends up getting hurt. To me, it almost feels like a dating game of compatibility. Nevertheless, regarding this belief I use to believe that by having many female friends that I could have the opportunity to choose a person I found the most interest in; however, I learned that this never works. Although I feel I have experienced a lot, I perhaps have relatively no experience being in a relationship; nevertheless, I have found much comfort being by myself and with the company of friends. I often question if I desire a relationship with another when I’m satisfied being by myself. Unlike most people, I find much comfort in my solidarity and ability to strive to achieve the goals I have created for life. If such an occasion were to become reality, where I would find someone of interest and similarities, I would definitely desire to share my life and seek companionship until I reach the end of my time spent on earth.

Now that I have addressed relationships, I shall address sexuality.

I would like to state a caution or digression for those who are under the age of 18, those who I know, and those who are family. The material I will address below is sensitive, personal, possibly controversial and contains sexual material; some of which is about myself. Therefore, I advise those of you I mentioned to not proceed or to read at your own risk.

Respecting What’s Erotic and What’s Innocent

It’s my belief that one should respect what’s erotic as well what’s innocent. There are many individuals I know that seek pleasure in adult entertainment or have interests in an erotic lifestyle; some that have never sexually interacted with another and others that enjoy or have had the company of many. There are others individuals I know that have religious values that appraise innocence. Most of their values stand against or want to seek reconciliation for those who seek indecent interests. It’s my belief that one should respect the values of both those who seek innocence and those who find pleasure in adult entertainment and erotic life styles, for both are subjected to the differences of personal life styles. I believe such interests, both erotic and innocent, should be accepted and should have no need to be kept secret or condemned. Is it not the reason for free will to decide the life style one desires? It seems fair to me that if one is in dislike to the life style of another, then they should respectfully state their disposition to those who do find enjoyment in such different life style choices. I believe by doing such will create a harmonious balance between what's erotic and what's innocent.

“The Rollercoaster Called Life”, My Solutions to Coping with Depression and Anxiety.

Nobody loves me. I’m never good enough. Nothing will ever get better. If I die will anyone miss me? Why was I ever born? Does any of these sound familiar? It’s obvious if you think this way you’re going through some tough and emotional times. I would coin it as being part of the rollercoaster called life. It happens to everyone and the results could lead to self-harm or the physical or emotional harm of others. I found many ways to prevent depression and anxiety. When one is depressed or filled with anxiety I found it best to not take actions on behalf of emotions. This includes saying things I don't mean or might later regret. If one lets emotions run their life, actions based on one’s emotions can lead to disaster, possible harm, or consequence. Most often when I’m depressed, I keep it to myself. I rather not burden others with problems of my own. Instead, I write about them. I write why I feel a certain way and what I wish could be different. I personally find embracing depression and letting my feelings and thoughts go crazy until my mind clears and I can think rationally again. Because of this, I stress the importance of finding a quiet place or personal space from others. It’s time that can be used to think about stuff or possible rational solutions to a problem. If all fails, start from the beginning with “at least I’m alive.” This leads me to my next way to cope with depression and anxiety. If one is not satisfied or cannot find a solution to their problems, then another option is self-discovery.  This could mean to find time away from everything to clear one’s mind or physically migrating to a place with more possibilities for opportunity. I did this several times where I sat by myself outside in my backyard and told myself I didn’t like who I was or where I was at and how I wanted to change things I didn’t like about myself. I wanted to change my attitude, appearance, and my overall self-image. There’s nobody to tell you that you can’t. If there is such a person, they are toxic and would be essential to eliminate them from one’s life or find ways to get away from them. If they aren’t contributing to one’s success then their presence, attention and opinions are not needed. Moreover, I found listening to others that did not work towards my success to be emotionally insecure deep inside. There is a possibility one can talk and try to discover or resurface the negatively impacting individual’s vulnerabilities for the reasons they are insecure; however, this takes patience, rationality, and lots of understanding. It’s seems natural that others also want attention and to also be understood, that is if they aren’t completely mental (like some who have Asperger’s syndrome). It’s also important to realize nobody can change anybody; it’s always up to the other individual to change. Moving on, it’s important to also eliminate bad habbits caused by low self-esteem or the stress of depression or anxiety. Acting on behalf of one’s negative emotional responses can lead to negative action such as bad habbits like drugs, alcohol, smoking, addiction to sex, abuse, or physical harm. In addition, it’s obvious drugs and antidepressants are not the solution for a psychological problem. This would only be a temporary fix. Antidepressants can also result in negative changes to neural activity that could result in negative side effects if the treatment isn’t followed properly. Another possible problem is that anxiety can lead to negative bodily responses, such as panic attacks which could then lead to many other bodily or potential psychological problems. For example, extreme panic attacks can affecting your nerves in your stomach causing problems keeping food in your stomach. It seems possible that the result of depression or anxiety could lead to many psychologically influenced medical problems. Now that I have stated various ways to cope with depression and anxiety, I shall finally address my primary, most important, and most effective method to combatting depression and anxiety.  The best way, or should I say the secret, to combat depression and anxiety is to stay productive and work towards a goal in life. Have a realistic and functional plan to achieve your goals. The more you achieve, the less you’ll feel depressed or have the feeling of anxiety, the more you will feel productive, positive and perhaps even inspirational to others.

Finding Inspiration and Motivation

Life takes pride in destroying and obliterating our hopes and dreams. You could win a million dollars one day and the next day lose it because you misplaced your wallet. It’s a routine that makes Murphy’s law unignorable. The ending results is being down in the dumps possibly resulting in the need to buy more ice cream. It’s not just feeling blue that gets in the way, it could also be a lack in motivation. Anyone can feel the burden of not reaching for the remote after getting comfortable laying on a couch. My way to cope with all the negative feelings and lack of motivation in my life is by drawing inspiration. There are several ways I find inspiration. My first and primary method is to look at the progress of others. I get very inspired when I look at the work or progress other’s produce. However, there’s more than just simple admiration. Let's use art for example. I picture the artist working on something. It starts from nothing and turns into something. I try to imagine how much effort went into creating a certain piece. I also look at how satisfied they have become after completed a piece and seeing how it impacts others. Often I look at myself and try to tell myself, I can do that, I can do better than that, or I’m going to do that. It usually gets me into the proper mindset to want to work on something. However, to physically get started on it, it’s either I’m already motivated or excited to begin working or that I have to dare myself to start working. Eventually, I begin working and have the problem of not wanting to stop working. In addition, another good suggestion is to see interviews based on the work others have done. I personally find inspiration in many game developer, artist, and movie director interviews and videos I find on Youtube. My second source of motivation or inspiration comes from myself. I look at the progress I have achieved thus far and tell myself it would be great to make one more. Another suggestion is that I think to myself is it would be nice to try out or add new things to my portfolio. By reflecting on my past progress, I can motivate and even inspire myself to push further. My third method is something unique to myself. I have a wall at home that has many drawings, illustrations, and awards. The drawings and illustrations are of me created by friends and other artists. I call this the fan wall. I look upon my fan wall and use it as a natural source for motivation. I normally take a few minutes to stare at it until I tell myself it's time to get something done. In a way, I feel like it draws motivation from people I believe that believes in me. I also place value on certain objects given to me by friends, such as a bracelet or a friendship ring for example. As farfetched as it sounds, it helps me clear my thoughts and pushes me to have the longing to accomplish great things no matter how small or insignificant. My fourth source for motivation and inspiration comes from music. I enjoy all kinds of music genres, including orchestra, foreign music, or gangster rap. My most preferred genre is Jrock (visual kei) and electric swing.  I love anything with an uplifting or get off your butt and  dance beat. My fifth and final source for motivation or inspiration comes from audiobooks, literature, and relative videos. This is normally the last resort and is extremely effective. It’s like the A-team for motivation and inspiration. Audiobooks found online and on Youtube send powerful thoughts or subconscious thoughts that can motivate one to do pretty much anything. Even if one listens to something long enough, there is a good possibility they can act through their desire. It is also a powerful source for information that not only can empower oneself but also empower others by setting yourself as an example. In conclusion, these are the methods I use to find motivation and inspiration. Perhaps it can also be helpful to others.

My Disbelief in Pills and My Unforgettable Experience Getting My Wisdom Teeth Removed

I disapprove on unnecessary use of pills and medicines. The reason being is because the body is use to things that are natural. It's possible or even conspiratorial that the drug industry makes billions of dollars in making drugs that could have unnoticed or overlooked side effects that could lead to more physical or mental problems. It's apparent that one doesn't always know what are inside drugs. Supposedly traditional pills are made of organic supplements that come from nature. These supplements are grinded and loaded into pill form which are then used to help a patient. Since science and chemistry has become more complex, it's not fully known what are in the pills more-less what are potential unknown, untested or long term side effects of a drug. It's my understanding that not all drugs have the same side effects on every patient. I do understand how some drugs are necessary for survival. I can respect that. I would also use drugs if my life depended on it. Nevertheless, this is the way I see the drug and medicine industry. I also believe much of the cures are not cured by drugs but cured by the mind. Imagine if a person took pain medication for what they thought was pain, but in reality it was a conditioned response from their emotional distress or unwillingness to want to feel better. I believe some medical cases can be resolved with psychological or even therapeutic help.

If i may share the past experience of mine, getting my wisdom teeth pulled, I want to insist it was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. My brother and I were scheduled to get our teeth pulled during the same week. My brother had his teeth pulled and we drove him to the store to get his medication. My father, the one that when to pick up the medication, came out of the stored to find his windshield was cracked because of my brother's temper caused by him taking to long. He claims it was the medicine; however, knowing his temper, it's obvious it wasn't. When it was my turn to get my teeth pulled, the doctor laid me in a chair and we made jokes with each other about how i would wake up and become violent and could have the possibility of a rare case of amnesia. Of course it was a joke. Eventually, they covered my eyes with orange tinted classes and put a breather over my mouth, In around a minutes I had gone to sleep and the doctor went to work pulling my teeth. Later as I was waking up, I vividly remember waking up. I remember being fully conscious as if waking up in the morning. I remember feeling like i was covered in debris. Like i was digging through the rubble of a collapsed building. As the doctor operated and moved my head, I struggled to get through to the surface. Eventually the debris faded away and in my mind I began to talk to myself. I told myself to wiggle my right foot to let the doctor know I was awake. So I did and the doctor's assistant patted my shoulder to let me know I was getting taken care of. It was at this point the doctor was sewing up my gums.

After the operation was finished, the assistant gave me a wheel chair. She wheeled me out to the main hobby where i met my father and brother. I got up to go walk to the car, when i reached the door the assistant told me to return to the wheel chair because I was a liability if anything were to happen to me. So I walked back and sat down and enjoyed the thirty second ride to the car waiting outside. In no time we left the dentist office and went home.

My brother complained about the pain for days on end; however, I decided not to take the medicine. I decided to bear with the pain. After a couple hours the unbearable pain set in; however, to me it seemed as if a pain that was easy enough to bear. I tolerated the pain and played Minecraft. It took my brother four days using the medicine to stop the pain. As I was distracted by playing Minecraft, the pain subsided in just four hours. By the next day, I was already eating warm easy to chew chicken soup.
Having that entire experience, I feel like having my thoughts surpassing the pain helped me to overcome the pain and get rid of the pain quickly. Furthermore, I brag about how losing my wisdom teeth was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had.
