The Importance of World Peace

It seems to me the idea of world peace has become a diminished idea. There is conflict everywhere around the world. When I look at public media, it’s easy to find the terrifying conflict arising or in session in different parts of the world; poverty, terrorism, hacking, political tyranny and so on. Every day it becomes more frightening, increasing the level of future uncertainties. Nevertheless, I believe world peace should become a main priority once more. I don’t believe the future is to become a single globalized community, but rather a globalized community that coexists with every country as their own entity. I believe it should be within every country’s interest to maintain peace without even suggesting the idea of war, because war is an old irrational and barbaric ideology. Instead, conflicts should be handled civilly, rationally, and dealt with using the most wise and intelligent suggestions possible. It’s within good measures for counties to learn to get along and respect each other’s boundaries.  I also believe it’s within good allyship that countries should come together and help each other with their social insecurities and problems if possible. By utilizing such actions, the global community should create a global culture of peace and allyship that can be essential for the direction of human progress toward a more prosperous future.
